Departing from the Holiday Village towards South, first we will reach the small village of Cannigione and then the countryside of Arzachena. After that we will arrive at the famous town of San Pantaleo, among jagged granite mountains and green forests. A nice stop will allow us to wander through the narrow streets and discover many typical Gallurese handicrafts. Moreover, we will attend a short cooking demonstration on typical Sardinian pasta. Departing again toward Palau, we will cross Arzachena. Having reached the car park of the 'Opera Monte Altura' Military Fortress, before visiting it, we will walk through the spectacular architecture of the villas of Costa Smeralda and the narrow streets of Porto Rafael below. Cala Inglese or Nelson's Beach may suggest us to take a short swim before going back to Monte Altura Fortress. Our food and wine break will take place inside the walls of the Fortress, set up exclusively for us. Then finally we will visit the Fortress, from which we will enjoy the whole National Park “Arcipelago La Maddalena” and Corsica. After that we will reach the great beach of the inhabitants of Palau: La Sciumara. You’ll have here the possibility to take some photos and to go to the beach for a few minutes, before reaching Palau by bus. In Palau we will take a short visit of the Ethnographic Museum, where we will find many everyday stuffs used in the past by Liscesi who lived in the stazzi (typical fishermen's and farmers' houses widespread all in Gallura area). On the way back to the Village we can admire the colourful landscape over the Baia delle Saline.
